HONEY GINGER GARLIC SHRIMP AND BROCOLLI over WHTIE RICE KIT (Feeds 2)

Tender, jumbo local shrimp, with fresh broccoli florets, tossed in our sweet and tangy Honey Ginger Garlic Sauce, served over White rice.

This kit includes everything to make this delicious meal in only a couple of minutes, in the comfort of your own home.

Kit Includes:

1# Jumbo 16/20 ct. East Coast shrimp, cleaned, split, pre-seasoned and ready to cook

6 oz. Honey Ginger Garlic Sauce

1 Cup Jasmine Rice (uncooked)

1/2# Broccoli Florets, trimmed

Sesame Seeds

 

Cooking Instructions:

In a medium sauce pan, heat 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil. Add the jasmine rice and saute for 1 minute. Add 2 Cups of water, stir to combine ensuring you remove all rice from the sides of the pan. Cover and bring the water to a boil, then lower to a simmer and cook for 10-12 minutes until the water has absorbed. Remove from heat.

In a large saute pan (with lid) over medium-high heat, add a 1/4 cup of water to the pan, add the broccoli and cover.

Steam the broccoli for 3-4 minutes, until the broccoli is tender and bright green.

Remove the broccoli and place in a bowl. Wipe any excess water from the pan.

Add 2 Tbsp. of olive oil to the pan over medium heat. Add shrimp and garlic and ginger mix to the pan.

Saute until the shrimp are about 75% cooked (about 2-3 minutes)

Add broccoli back to the pan, toss to combine.

Pour Honey Ginger Garlic sauce over the shrimp and broccoli, toss to combine.

Heat until sauce begins to boil, finishing cooking the shrimp.

Spoon over white rice, garnish with sesame seeds and serve.
